Facilty Group specializes in providing Program Management,
Facility Programming, Planning, and Design Services for
the K-12 Education Market. The hands-on experience of
our planners and management staff provides the in-depth,
problem solving knowledge needed to respond to your specific
educational needs. Nearly two-thirds of our Education
Specialists are former education/public school administrators,
having held responsibility for facility design, construction
and maintenance at both the local and state level.
From enrollment projections, needs assessments and programming, through start-up and post-occupancy services, Facilty Group is capable of assuming
total responsibility for your
project. Our integrated, comprehensive services are offered independently or as a single source
approach.
Facilty Group's Education Program Management Team provides a comprehensive array of
building program management services from a single source that is responsible and accountable
for total delivery of planning, design, construction, FF&E, and move-in/occupancy tasks
necessary to complete your new or renovated facility program. Acting as your
representative and an extension of your staff, our Program Managers provide a seamless
interface for all the separate and independent program disciplines facilitating optimal decision making
and enhancing program value.
The Education Division also includes the planning and design expertise of
Passantino & Bavier, a
nationally recognized architectural design firm specializing in educational
facility planning and design. Founded in 1970 and acquired by The Facility
Group in 1994, Passantino & Bavier has been repeatedly recognized for their outstanding
educational planning and design. Their many awards include the prestigious Council of Educational Facility
Planners International Award for Excellence in Educational Planning given for the design and
programming of the Stanley M. Makowski Early Childhood Center.
Our experienced staff have
been involved in the development of over 400 schools throughout the Southeast, comprising over
10,000 classrooms. Our planning, programming and management philosophy emphasizes
a collaborative approach involving all the stakeholders and building users, including students,
educators, administrators and community representatives.
As a leader in facility design, engineering, and programming, we utilize state-of-the-art computer
technology as both a design tool and a means of production. Our entire staff uses the latest
AutoCAD release, supported by additional software for all design and construction
documentation, including 3-D computer modeling, rendering and virtual reality walk-through.
