Facilty Group is seeking a Planner / Landscape Architect with 0-5 years experience for the Atlanta office. The successful candidate must have AutoCAD experience, computer application knowledge and a strong work ethic. Experience w/ Photoshop or other graphic applications is a plus.
The candidate will be primarily responsible for assisting in the production of master site plans, landscape plans, concept grading plans, construction and permitting documents and color renderings.

Project Manager for the Higher Education Business Sector
Job Description: Provide program management for public sector design / build projects, in the Higher Education business sector. Project types may include classroom building, parking decks, libraries, research facilities, student housing. Position requires leadership of the design and construction team, as well as managing and leading the owner/user stake holders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a project execution strategy that focuses on client needs , contract requirements and will result in a profitable, successful project for Facilty Group
- Organize the project team (owner, user, design, construction)
- Develop a project management plan for each project-Preconstruction, Construction and Project Closeout
- Work with owner to develop project contract administration procedures
- Establish a series of milestones, and deliverables for TFG team. Focus on validating schedule, budget and scope through out the design process and establishing owner acceptance at each stage.
- Chair regular review meetings with client, Build a positive client/TFG environment.
- Monthly Control Reports--Hold regular team meetings during the construction phase--owner , construction, design -- to review progress, keep people informed and identify/solve major project business issues
- Assure that monthly progress payment applications are made and monies collected.
- Monitor project progress and quality throughout construction phase
- Keep TFG management apprised of project successes and project problems or issues.
- Assure that project is properly staffed.
- Co-ordinate regular cost management activities
- Work with design and construction team to develop a project closeout plan
- Invoice and collect final payments and retainages.
- Maintain close communication with Client throughout the project

Civil Engineer
Job Description: Civil Engineer to perform Civil Site Planning and Design for public sector, commercial and industrial developments.
Responsibilities:
- Act as lead person on civil engineering team for asigned projects.
- Prepare conceptual design, preliminary design, final design, construction plans and specifications.
- Perform hydrology studies and prepare storm water management plans.
- Prepare soil & erosion control plans.
- Travel to out of town and out of state project locations to evaluate site conditions, meet with client, meet with local permit officials and perform construction administration.
- Review site development constraints including zoning, property set back requirements, stormwater management requirements, soil & erosion control requirements, stream, wetlands & flood plain protection requirements, public utility requirements, etc.

Process Engineer
Responsible for supervising a team of process specialists. Working with clients to develop concepts for food and beverage processing facilities. Select process technology and equipment, including packaging. Develop material balance and process flow. Work with the company’s architectural, engineering, estimating, scheduling, and construction departments to assist in developing accurate building layouts and estimates. Attend sales calls to assist the company in business development. Report to the Western Regional Manager and the Program Manager on specific projects assigned to the project. Establish project budgets for process systems.
Qualifications: Candidate must have at least 15-20 years of experience in Process Engineering specifically in the food processing industry. Must have either a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Candidates should have a good understanding of food and beverage processing plant functions. Must be savvy with process flow, plant layout and batching operations. Should understand food and beverage processing equipment and how it works as well as be knowledgeable to select equipment. Candidate should have excellent analytical skills and budget preparation skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2000 is a plus.

Architectural/Engineering Project Manager
A/E project manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience managing the entire A/E design effort for multi-million dollar construction projects. Responsibilities will include programming and scope determination through client communication, cost control, communicating scope and design intent to the design team, scheduling, managing A/E projects from initial programming and schematic phase through construction documents and construction administration phase.
Qualifications: Professional registration and AutoCad capabilities are preferred. Experience on educational building projects is a necessity.

Project Architect or Architectural Project Captain (title if not registered) with a minimum of 10 years of experience responsible for the production of architectural construction documents, drawings and specifications, for multi-million dollar construction projects, preferably for commercial, educational, industrial or correctional building types. Must be extremely proficient with the latest versions of Autocad. Must be able to manage the production of architectural documents including participation in client meetings, building code reviews, communicate with building officials, manage assigned architectural staff, communicate and coordinate with engineering disciplines and consultants, and communicate with construction staff. HVAC Mechanical Engineer and Designer
Candidates must have at least 5 years experience of mechanical engineering. Specific experience shall include the design of HVAC and building service piping systems for industrial facilities must including food processing plants (specifically meat processing plants), warehouses and manufacturing facilities. Candidate shall have a proven record of formulating design criteria, developing conceptual designs, performing detailed designs, system development, energy conservation and construction specifications. Candidate shall be able to direct mechanical designers on project specific issues.
Qualifications: Proficient in AutoCAD 2002, competent in the use of Elite Load calculation software (or equal). Familiar with Trace E700 energy modeling software. Prepare schematic designs, design development, and construction documents on a variety of projects including but not limited to: schools, jails, court houses, food processing plants, light industrial plants, warehousing, and college campus housing. Some experience with LEED.

Superintendents will be responsible for day to day coordination and scheduling of subcontractors, project schedule compliance, and safety/quality of project, taking total responsibility for the success of assigned projects.
Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years experience in construction. A 4 year engineering or construction degree is preferred. Computer literacy is a plus.
