History of the Firm

Established in 1986 with a staff of five and $10 million in construction revenues, Facility Group has since developed into a full-service design-build firm, servicing clients across the United States and abroad. We are consistently ranked among Engineering News Record's (ENR) national list of "Top 100 Design Build Firms," "Top 500 Design Firms," and "Top 400 Contractors."

Facility Group provides comprehensive, specialized services to niche markets including distribution, food, industrial, education, and criminal justice. From project programming through start-up, the wide array of planning, design and Construction Management Services we offer are available independently or as our customized, ONEsource approach.

Facility Group is dedicated to sustainable designs and has been designing and constructing environmentally friendly, LEED certified buildings for more than 20 years. We are proud of our efforts to have a smaller impact on our environment.

Facility Group is also a leader in technology, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create three-dimensional versions of projects early in the process to ensure everyone is on the same page and avoid costly changes.
